We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to showcase the remarkable works of Fiker Solomon and Sanaa Gateja, and we look forward to engaging with new audiences in this vibrant region.
Hailing from two different generations, cultures and countries within Eastern Africa, Gateja’s and Solomon’s practices are united by a distinct approach towards care, community and their natural environments. In their unique ways, they utilize material from their surroundings, chosen for their inherent qualities and symbolic resonance.
