Inversion I (2024) by Daniel Atenyi

"As I was selecting works of significance to me, I noticed a recurring theme: all of them explored the concept of self-identity. These figures, often enigmatic and lacking tangible boundaries, posed questions about our place within a complex and evolving society. Whether it be our position within a patriarchal structure or our struggle for acceptance in an unjust world, these works delved into profound themes of identity and belonging. Mlengeya and Komuntale's self-discovery and empowerment, Abate’s erratic visions, unspoken anxieties of the human condition, Atenyi's contemplation of identity and perception, and Odur’s interrogations on belongingness and free movement." - Eve Therond

A Beautiful Mess (2024) by Kaleab Abate

The windows of opportunities III (2024) by Odur Ronald

Ripple (2024) by Sungi Mlengeya
